Graduate Architect

CME Associates, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a graduate architect looking to develop not only their technical skills, but also gain valuable experience in Design and Project Management.

We are looking for a graduate architect with at least 3 years of design experience to join our team. In this position you will work with a seasoned architect to guide a project from initial concept through construction, assisting the client and the lead architect through all phases. This opportunity is ideal for a designer seeking architectural licensure who wants to gain experience in the many facets of a project including design, bidding and construction oversight.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the lead architect in the design and management of projects of varying size
  • Field measuring
  • Development of design drawings and details under the oversight of the lead architect
  • Assist in tracking of schedules and deliverables
  • Attend project meetings and interface with clients
  • Assist in delivering on client vision and expectations
The chosen candidate will need to effectively communicate (written & oral), possess superior organizational skills, have proficient computer skills, and work effectively to meet scheduling requirements and quality control standards. This position will require individuals that are willing to perform a variety of tasks, and are team players.

Experience/Qualifications:
  • B.S. or B.A. in Architecture
  • 3+ years of experience in architectural design with a desire to become professionally licensed
  • Well versed in CADD software
  • Experience with Sketch up or similar rendering software
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
