Job Description:

Position Summary:

The overall responsibility of this position is to support the manufacturing and production functions in the inventory / shipping / receiving departments of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track material movement on software/data entry equipment.
  • Receive and store delivered material.
  • Bag & label components and finished goods.
  • Perform cycle counts and support accurate inventories in bin locations.
  • Kit assemblies for production builds and process accurate component transfer to job orders.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments.
  • Supporting company goals for OTD through receiving, kitting, and shipping.

Physical Demands:

  • Typically, work will be performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with occasional travel to customer and vendor facilities required.
  • Close proximity with co-workers and contact with customers and vendors will require frequent face to face, telephone and electronic interaction.
  • Intermittent exposure to distracting noises from tooling and equipment.
  • Occasional clean room environment with work in clean room suits will be required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will have frequent transitions from sitting to standing and require considerable use of the arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Typical protective and safety equipment requirements are glasses, gloves, safety shoes, hearing protection and clean room suites.
  • Continuous awareness of personal safety and safety of others is essential.
